I thought is was interesting how the entire continent of Africa got a single mention, and Paris had three.

1. Started my own blog -- yes
2. Slept under the stars -- yes
3. Played in a band -- does being a go-go dancer count for anything? My family made it very clear to me at an early age that a world without Lisa trying to make music was the only world worth inhabiting
4. Visited Hawaii -- yes
5. Watched a meteor shower -- yes
6. Given more than I can afford to charity -- yes
7. Been to Disneyland/world -- yes
8. Climbed a mountain -- with my feet, not with fancy gear
9. Held a praying mantis -- yes

11. Bungee jumped -- no, thank you
12. Visited Paris -- yes
13. Watched lightning at sea -- no
14. Taught myself an art from scratch -- every day
15. Adopted a child -- cats only
16. Had food poisoning -- not unless you count hepatitis
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty -- no
18. Grown my own vegetables -- heck, yeah!
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France -- it wasn't on display when we visited the Louvre, or we skipped it, or something
20. Slept on an overnight train -- yes
21. Had a pillow fight -- yes
22. Hitchhiked -- yes, and it is really dangerous
23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill -- yes
24. Built a snow fort -- nope
25. Held a lamb -- no
26. Gone skinny dipping -- yes
27. Run a marathon -- no way
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice -- we were too broke, we rode the "bus"
29. Seen a total eclipse -- yes
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset -- no
31. Hit a home run -- hah! no way!
32. Been on a cruise -- we did an ocean crossing, which has a different purpose from a cruise
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person -- yes
34. Visited the birthplace of my ancestors -- yes
35. Seen an Amish community -- yes
36. Taught myself a new language -- Ig Pay Atin Lay?
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied -- I still worry
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person -- the lack of railings and slippery marble floor scared me as a child. I was sure that I was going to slip and go shooting out the open archways.
39. Gone rock climbing -- feet, no gear
40. Seen Michelangelo’s David -- I've seen the Pieta
41. Sung karaoke -- see #3

43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant -- no

46. Been transported in an ambulance -- how did I get to the hospital when I dislocated my knee? I think it was in an ambulance.
